There are approximately six million tractor-trailers operating in the United States with around a half million new ones being put on the road every year, with about two-thirds of them replacing the ones that are retired. WPRT is making engines at an annual rate of between seven and eight thousand. Supposedly, WPRT will be making a profit at some point between 2,500 and 3,000 engines per quarter with the average cost of an engine at around $35,000. It looks to me like there is a lot of room for growth for the industry as a whole and for WPRT in particular. I'm staying put. I've recovered my early losses and I am now in at an average price of less than two dollars. I'm just gonna let it run.
