Re SPX: proof of a shortterm top requires a top in the 18day cycle we are in. Violation of an uptrending channel surrounding a harmonic subcomponent, as in 4.5days, would do it. That channel is currently near 2582 and will be above 2587 by the close. A good selloff would prove the top of this 18day cycle.
