May be speculative but certainly not that wild. Doesn't appear that Carl made his case though. My guess is Trump doesn't want to p.o. the farm vote just to make Carl richer and happier. There are good arguments to ditch ethanol blending but Carl overplayed his hand and got smacked for it.
