Right they most likely don't. They seem like just a marketing company offering services to help build and improve brands.

They probably get paid as consults but they could have equity deals as well possibly.

This is accurate in my opinion. Emerging Franchises is a franchising consulting firm from what I can tell.

Just FYI there are quite a number of profitable consulting firms in the world. I can think of a few industry giants in the accounting space. Bain, Deloitte, KPMG. A few in other spaces. Accenture, ZS Associates, even IBM. Not to mention DoD consulting giants like Booz Allen and Bechtel.

I can't really think of any household names for consulting firms in the restaurant industry. So maybe these guys have found a niche. I'm just saying profits can definitely be found in consulting firms.
