The Joint Acquisition Task Force placed a TALOS countdown on their wall.
I think this is analogous to how a war room is filled with maps and intelligence.
I believe it speaks volumes. Obviously TALOS development is a very important event and not just another R&D project among thousands of others.
It seems to imply that much of their staff are not only aware of the project, but have a vested interest in it. If it didn't have broad appeal, I would guess it wouldn't be on the wall.
It would seem sometimes the little things thrown into an article tell us more than the predominate things reported at large.
Also, in general it would seem things placed on government walls have high degrees of significance.
The CIA Memorial Wall or the Vietnam Veterans Memorial are a couple examples that come to mind.
