Government values precedent, the longer, the better. This is a new ordinance and who knows, as it becomes clear just how much revenue will be raised by legal marijuana, this might very well be subject to change.
But it will definitely require a lot of finesse on AG's part. A news release announcing the hiring of a lobbying firm would be a positive development.
