It’s easy to push lower just by selling more than the bid.
Same for the ask.
As a buyer, Would I rather push the price thru the ask or have someone push through my bid lower.
I rather it be higher

There are various private placements that can be arranged. Brokered, Non Brokered, 506b's and 506c's etc
