Geert has always said that there would be no preliminary findings released. I also do not understand the reasoning. I would think it leads one to believe that the results, while not totally minimal, are less than fantastic...probably not true but it is a created perception.

In regards to your "events" definition, Geert agrees and has also said "events' equals "deaths"

So again, sorry, but my confusion is in regards to those who do not become "events". If the SOC life expectation is 3 years isn't there a possibility that with this new drug/treatment that this could change significantly to like 5-6 or more years? And these survivors would not be part of the final results because they didn't die quick enough?

I just think that this (living more years) is a better outcome than 10%+ which is living more months...

As far as the 298 number Dr. K has more knowledge into the creation of this end point....

they cannot disclose the numbers. In principle only the independent board can know some of these numbers before the data review, it is an obligation to avoid insider trading. They could disclose aggregate data like the total response of all treated patients.
All that is clear in principle...
