Bigfred, I don't know significantly more than you, I just say:
1) I lost patience & did call real physical people at the company, earlier this week (both Maryland US & Israel) and simply confirmed it is what i thought it is. Not a bogus.
IP (Intellectual Property) is what they produce, in plain English research/R&D, and why wouldn't it make Millions in this new world where IP is worth more than manufacturing? It's 2016, not 1926 or 1986 even. As of volatility, their Corporate Counsel/Lawyer David told me that it's what stockmarket is by definition - I might as well go play in Las Vegas and hope to win every play.
If I hoped to see a steady rise in my portfolio on stockmarket, with zero worries & little return - just invest in a CD or high-yield bank savings account and admit you can't handle the stress of stocks.
With a LONG-term horizon, Stockmarket rarely makes you lose, (unless you invest into some joke like BLTA or Namibian spaceships).
David plainly said they don't control volatility, there're no insiders who sold recently, and they're moving forward with patenting MULTIPLE patents, including first with USPTO, then other countries (USPTO happens to be nearby in Virginia, I used ot live in Maryland and was once even invited for a job interview at USPTO).
And then he admitted they're bad with updating investors, posting news, etc. regularly about which he even yelled at the Board of Directors. They run labs and research facility in israel simply b/c it's still semi-illegal in the US to research Cannabis & israel happens to be a homecountry of that first scientist who discovered key chemicals within CMD

Iam not a Bio/Chemistry-related, but am an Electronics engineer with added 3D/mechatronics experience, coming from theoretical Physics roots. And know EXACTLY what it means an "IP company". In fact much of my life worked for small agile Hi-Tech businesses whose value was mostly in Patents.
HECK, for example do you know why Google bothered to buy Motorola Mobility a few years ago (later acquired by Lenovo)? - for their PATENTS PORTFOLIO, not for their "hardware"

Intellectual Property aka "Know How" is our generation's economy.
Iam not sure why you worry someone else will "make Millions" if CNBX is producing Patents related to treating cancer with phytocompounds found in Cannabis?
