Now Two River has been duped by Tenant 2 (GCP 1-2) according to McKowen. I'm starting feel sorry for McKowen. His recent blog posts seem to be coming from the heart as if he is completely frustrated with how things are going behind the scenes.
According to him tenant 2 just harvested three million dollars of of pot and refused to pay over over 1 million dollars of rent despite repeated promises to do. Seems like a trend in the business as former low level pot growers in their parent's basement get a chance to grow on a big scale and it's just in their nature to rip everybody off.
So how do you change a business plan that requires significant payment of rent up front.
Two Rivers now has to go to court to try and recover it's past due rent money.
Why anyone would want to invest in Two Rivers or any other MJ grow operation at this point is beyond me. Ripping off the landlord appears to be the norm these days. Makes for a bad investment.
