Asked other OEMs how they qualify parts and they show their version or they say that's up to the end user to figure out.
The, few who have inspection software, I ask if they can see this in real time? And they say, "well...no...but that's coming."
Sigma is still lightyears ahead of the game.
OEMs are just interested in selling machines, they don't care about the software unless it's guaranteed to increase their sales significantly.
Sigmas model to be the Intel inside will take time, but if we can prove with our current partners how beneficial pr3d is, others will follow.
For now it's end users adding on to their machines moving from prototyping to production.
