"there is a sucker born every mn" .i agree with most of what you say about msg boards. it's strictly caveat emptor. that is why dew's board stands out above the crowd. i frequent no other msg board except this one and peter's on SI. seekingalpha i find mostly useless except for cc transcripts.
barely 2 weeks ago i blew up at a relative of mine who entreated me to "invest" along with him into the bitcoin bubble. i basically told him to knock himrself out but leave me alone.personal responsibility requires me to know the difference between caca and shinola or i deserve to be separated from my money lol.
not that i am any sharper than the next joe. i duly paid my tuition (in the 80s when i was young and new to the game) to Blind'em and Rob'em university (otherwise known as Blinder&Robinson of Denver Co, you can google it) and i remember my lessons.
