Filing status does matter regardless of your lack of factual insight.
It matters to investors, especially new ones. They want to see adequate filings, especially if QMC becomes successful and wants to uplist.
With that said, Squires said they were dealing with a predatory lender. I assume that means in court. I'm sure the delay is likely related to a court case and will be explained when they do issue the 10K.
I'm not sure, but I'd would think that there are exceptions to filing rules when confronted with legal cases.
