#78917 RE: Veblen #78913

Hi Veblen,

I wanted to wait until the financials to be posted before commenting.

The judgement is final and enforceable in the US. There is no appealing it, nor can Price escape the judgement assuming he has assets. He can't legally hide any assets either, though Price has demonstrated he has little regard for what is legal. Judgement creditors can collect debt a number of ways (wage garnishment, property liens and levies, assignment orders, etc.). They could turn the debt over to a collections agency as well. It all depends upon how much in assets Price has.

If Price decides to hide in Vancouver, Medinah can transfer the judgement to Canada where it would also be enforceable due to a treaty between the two countries. This would require hiring a Canadian lawyer, but the cost is not that great from what I understand. This would be up to the BOD to decide to pursue or let go.

Finally, if Price declares bankruptcy, then I don't believe Medinah can collect. However, if Price transferred assets out of his name within a certain time frame prior to the judgement, then those assets are not protected from the judgement.

I would defer my interpretations to those with experience or a legal background in these matters.
