For BOCX, the stock is their currency. At 50 cents, they cannot pay the bills without issuing a lot of stock. Paying Lampost Financial to move the stock to BB status increased the effective currency at least temporarily while waiting on something else that could increase the value of the stock. It could also have been done in preparation for an expected movement. Whatever the reason, it did boost the stock and at least the company is exposed to a lot more investors.

That's a goo0d point. Don't forget some of these folks get paid every time some one responds to their post. Probably working for a market maker.
