Yes. This often happens with large spreads. This is also when one sees the T-trades. These are successful/unsuccessful short attempts imo. When this happens on illiquid (at the time) stocks, you'll notice 2 trades for the day with the same volume in each group. The first is "green" buy and the after hours is often "red"
They've been working it down every day for a month. Especially mid-day and then it finishes pretty flat. Some days up some down. Should see an unusually high volume day this week. Imagine if there's finance news with the groundbreaking...EPIC.
