I'm no expert by any means and don't know all the legalities that are involved with releasing new info but even the investor calls I've been on for big tickers such as UNH only forward looking statements can be discussed. I don't see how the company can drop new info to people on a conference call before making it public to esentially the whole world at the same time via a PR. Just stating my experiences with being on a conference call.
