yes, gaap teaches that, debits = credits and when you aren't selling notes you aren't spending more money than you make.
Can't spend money you don't have. how could berge have astronomical expenses anymore when he doesn't have the money to spend?
He funded all of his old globe-trotting ways on the backs of investors by selling non-stop notes.
sales are dropping like a rock also.....
