Painful with a capital P. I was long $DLK (now $FLTT) from pennies to the top...at $80, or whatever it was...partly on margin. At the end of March my 1st margin call was over $900,000. I had something like 9 margin calls over the next 3 weeks...none smaller than $100,000. I learned some rather large lessons that year.
