I have a margin account and have never bought anything on margin. I own a ton of CWIR all bought with free cash. These shares can be borrowed for shorting because I have a margin account. That’s all I’m getting at.

It's because it's a penny stock. No other reason. You cannot buy a penny stock on margin. PERIOD
