Not exactly. AMD's council is misleading and the Judge's comments are polite.
Take the Japan issues. The are, administratively, over. True AMD has a "case" in Japan, filed by O'Melveny only after they realized their misinterpretation of American law. But that case is very weak for a variety of technical reasons.
When O'Melveny filed the suit, they figured they could coast on the Japanese Administrative Decision to victory in the US. That is the primary reason they filed the suit.
That "theory" is now gone poof and along with it a very substantial portion of the US case.
