You missed that Bai had 1/3 of it's sales float to the bottom line.

Bai wasn't profitable. Not as a standalone.

When Big Soda and its magnificent infrastructure buys a small beverage company this wonderful thing called economies of scale takes over.

It's why the P/S metric is useful with small beverage companies rather than P/E.
