That's why I never tell her how much I'm up or down. I'm lucky though, she doesn't ask about it very often, if at all. I think that she believes I'll make a huge amount one day, so she leaves me be. I will say, however, there have been times that I told her about some big green days/weeks, and she replies, "you should sell!" I would have a lot more money, right now, if I had listened to her. Sometimes it's good to have some one who is grounded, that understands how valuable that money gain might be at the moment for your family. Bird in hand is worth two in the bush. Wives get this, but we always know that $30k will be $300k in a month or two, so we ignore them. Next thing you know, $30k is $6k and we're totally numb, or nauseous, praying that the stock will get good news. My point is this: while we might be the ones who have the stomach to play this game, our wives could very well be the ones who have the brains to win at it. I know I'll at least listen to mine going forward.
