LMFAO! The entire 16 years under Immelt was a total debacle, and GE's share price fared horribly against any and all benchmarks during his overall tenure. Not to mention trading well below where it traded when Immelt took over from Jack Welch even 15 years later when the overall markets were hitting highs. The bottom line is that Immelt inherited the gold standard......the best publicly traded company in America from Jack Welch and ran it into the ground destroying the long term investments of many innocent investors. The chart tells the story of Immelt's disastrous tenure at the helm of this once great and iconic company.
