Sure, the SEC is fully aware of the rampant HFT manipulation. Anyone who has a clue is aware of it. The SEC doesn't care, because that's the way Wall Street wants it. It is undermining the efficiency of the capital markets, and is a serious economic threat to this country. Crickets.
