since the bid paint jobs have been posted in many cases instantly after buys, I'm assuming the mm's intention here is to suppress the price. Why? I can only guess it is either to fill up a large buy as cheap as possible, or they have short positions they need to cover and they'd like to do so as cheaply as possible... Either way, someone out there is trying to keep the price down.. and that's never a sign of weakness in a security.
