I did see an article that tencent has a 5% stake in tesla dont know if they are the company helping tesla get up and running in china but keeping my fingers crossed jbzy is involved

It took me a while to take in a Tesla possibility. But when I read most of the layoffs at Tesla were from the motors division. Mmm..that is the battery dept...right?

With our battery and electrical system Tesla could have found a way to be supplied powerful batteries and maybe cut out the 25% import tax. It seems car manufatures make adjustments on their assembly lines and then can add our battery system easily. All without doing the type of joint venture where Tesla would need to share their proprietary knowledge with the Chinese partners as with all other foreign car JVs in the past. Win/Win.
Even an articles I have read about a factory fully run by Tesla without a JV partnership also talks about the possibility of a Chinese company supplying the batteries! I was looking around, but couldnt relocate that article. Nothing is known until they announce,
but WOW, The Posibilites!
