No, that is not entirely correct---key word -entirely-
They could sell dolv if it were still a viable ticker--but it was not. They could sell the new shares --if the broker had them in their acct---some brokers were quick and some were not---The TA sent the new shares out to all brokerage houses on the close----all houses got the new shares at the same time.
Yes, anyone could buy the new shares --provided they had funds or margin available---

lucky,mydog - That is incorrect. You could not get a quote on JBZY on the 25th at TDA, only on Dolat, which could not be bought or sold. If you typed in JBZY it brought you to Dolat, which it did not recognize for a trade.
