They probably had something ready for ticker change but it is now out-dated. They are preparing a new one for the current state of the company.

Don't think the people involved are idiots, they knew the unrest it would cause if PR's were not ready for the new company. It is my true belief that they have them and are waiting for shares to be settled across all brokerages. My thoughts are aftermarket tomorrow OR Monday morning mailbag like we saw at the beginning of this week.
