no question that derive systems is a player in the car tech world. They've been playing with OBDII connectors and dialoging with the vehicle for a while. Looks to me like they took a product of theirs and added in an app piece to block texting...I just didn't see much info there about what it really does on that end of it. ONCI is not competing (yet) with the same types of car tech products. ONCI's product is focused directly on the use of electronic devices in the car and how to monitor their use, record and report on those events....yes, it's a tattletale device....but that's what's needed. $ONCI
