We don't know whether the company is up for sale or not. If it is, then for all you know a company is in the process of buying. Drawing a conclusion based on the fact that a buyout has not occurred yet is impossible. If it is going to be sold, then it takes some time. But, of course, that does not stop some people from trying to draw negative conclusions from the fact that it has not yet occurred. Especially tempting for people who claim to own the stock but really don't.
