This is because they know how naive NTEK investors are. So they deflect the reality that they’ve been scammed and point the blame at a made-up source. Every smart investor knows the daily short report is not a real indication of short volume. FINRA themselves admits to the same. It is the biweekly report that shows the true short volume and not an artifactual one seen in the daily report, and the true numbers are widely different. Yet the daily report posted here and on the outerweb daily even though it is known to be false just to appease NTEK investors.
