In the end, I actually see this company succeeding....wasn’t so sure 6 months ago but more optimistic at this point.

"you will find out if you won or lost soon... "

Mojo once again I find myself agreeing with you.

On the Army issue... consider this. First I think Warwick Mills was instrumental in getting our foot in the door. And I think Charlie knows enough about our product to think it's a winner or he would not have promoted our product.

We have heard we don't have any product to see yet several years ago Jon said all the prospective buyers he showed swatches of material to were very receptive.

I think the end is near and I think we will have a happy ending.

Good post Mojo!

I agree. Kim’s pass/fail grade is coming out soon. The US Army may very well have been impressed with the fibers, but if those shoot packs aren’t coughed up for testing with the extended time...? They’re not falling for “my dog ate my homework” again. No amount of finger pointing will stop the free fall in share price.

Regarding Vietnam, we have no clue what the timeline is. Even if it’s announced today that we are in business, we have no idea how long it will take to be cranking out consistent quality silk with a new hybrid.

Kim’s latest PR said “...advancing the Company’s plans for selective breeding in Vietnam,”.
“Selective breeding”?? Okay. We knew about that plan but that isn’t what we are waiting for. That’s the side-show to get us into Vietnam. Why didn’t he say “advancing the Company’s plans for mass production”?

Are we going to have to develop a hybrid strain first in order to get around the lack of “legal framework”? Possibly. VN laws regarding importation of GMOs were specific about how that happens. One being proof that it’s been done in another country. Does the US facility meet that requirement? We don’t know.

If not, then developing a hybrid strain in VN may be how Kim is getting around it. Then it will not be an import and will require less red tape.

On the other hand, if final VN approval actually means they will get to mass produce silk for the army, then they should be cranking out quality silk in one quarter. (Based on how fast the Indiana facility went from 0 to 60)

No matter what happens, the share price is going to move significantly in one direction or another within the next 3 months. Unfortunately for us, when Kim clams up, it hasn’t ended well for the share price... Think back to the “metric ton by mid-year” debacle. Mid year came and went and Kim said nothing. How about “2 contracts by end of year” in 2015? Kim was mute.

So here we are again, we didn’t get an update in 3rd quarter on the status of the finished batch of DS that was to be woven and knitted into shoot packs at WM in Q3.

Oh, and Ben can’t find anything else out either. Hmmm sound familiar?

You’re right, pass/fail is coming soon. Personally, my eyes are on Rice. I’m not expecting him to go down with this ship. He leaves and it’s time for the fat lady.

I’m still with the bulls for now, but I’m getting that sickening feeling that delivery of the goods to the army is not on schedule. His silence speaks volumes. Not to mention his worthless “verbal approval” PR. That’s even less valuable than the MOU a few years back. I’m afraid the last PR was a diversion to make us forget about the army update in Q3.
