They probably want the option to use that technology in their own services if it could financially be a viable option in the future. I'm sure the $250K is pennies on the dollar based on their total sales. Companies invest small dollar values all the time hoping 1 out of 10 or 15 will pan out. As far as I can see AXPW is just a company on paper. There is no building or company with employees working on product. There is absolutely no product being worked on or developed.
