My 2 cents is card games come and go as far as popularity with the players. Minecraft has been a constant staple in the gaming community for quite some time now and shows no signs of slowing anytime soon. I personally know high school kids that play it almost daily as well as adults from 30-45 years age range that play as well. The wide range of appeal for Minecraft is a huge plus imo.
