Say what? There has never been a split here with either BRK.A or BRK.B. Warren Buffett does not believe in splits and has not and will not ever effectuate a split. What he did do to allow investors in take a position without spending 6-figures for the A shares was to create the B class/shares which are intended to hold a value of 1/1500th of a class A share.

Actually BRK has slightly lagged the S&P 500 for the past decade. This also shows the split history of BRK.b.
