TWTR keeps saying that ad revenue will lag behind MAU's so I'm not sure where these optimistic 'whispers' are coming from when MAU growth was flat last Q. TWTR's own guidance also stated that the rest of 2017 would be lackluster and they haven't scored any new deals for better revs as far as I know. (TWTR also lost some big deals like NFL streaming.) I honestly believe we'll see MAU's went down in Q3 and TWTR will do damage control by trying to shift the focus to DAU engagement.
