I don't think Adage will buy any more long shares as this would indicate that they really were short and used some of their previous long shares to cover (what other reason could they give for selling shares and then turning around and buying?). I think that their reputation is more important to them than the millions they would make doing this. They do not want people knowing they were short. My opinion is that the best we can hope for from Adage is for them to stop selling. Hopefully, the last two sells have allowed them to cover. Of course, my opinion on this stock has been mostly wrong over the years...

If Lombardo was smart he'd go to Adage and say "we'll give you 3 million shares in a private placement if the price is 10 and if you promise to stop playing games. Let's get the pps up into the 20's and then we'll sell the company for twice that."

"We better hope Adage is selling to cover here, and plans to pivot and go long. If Adage is covering here and does plan to go long, we are golden."

Adage still owns 4 million shares, so they are already long.

Gantor --- I most definitely concur with your thesis regarding Adage and your interpretation of the history post Adage buying in; They are the 800 lb. gorilla in the room after all, who can deny this? If you're correct that they are again pivoting their basic position, this time to square up their short position and becoming net long the stock, then we can remain positive that all is not lost. Ultimately if this thesis is borne out then it follows that they will again lead us back up (baring anything else unforeseen) and there is light at end of this tunnel. My best analogy would be an ocean liner turning around: given the limits of natural volume and the magnitude of the short position involved this process has/will take some time (sigh) and we at the end of the day simply must endure this voyage as such.

If Adage is covering, it appears they started around the time of the Kite deal. Very Interesting if true.
