That's what Apple is famous for, stealing intellectual property from others, using it in their products, calling them innovative, then when the all mighty thief gets sued, the have a TEAM of high priced lawyers to bend the little guy over, pay an eventual license fee, fines...whatever, for far less than being an ethical company and sign a license because it's the right thing to do.
But wait...QCOM is no little guy...AAPL is messing with fire and I hope the system puts it to em big time.
