So you think NOL carryover is bad? NOL means Net Operating Loss. It can be carried 2 years back or 20 years forward to offset income, hence pay less taxes. NOL's are the reason why big corporations would buy a smaller, non productive firm - tax write offs. This means that at this point BKMP may save up as much as 40% of taxes = more $$$$ in the bank!
