Mark "They can't grow prawns adult under a roof at all." This allegation is good evidence of your ignorance. There are more than one farms where prawns are grown. There are roofs over several of these farms. The walls of the first farms were lower than the walls of the Mega Farm. Therefore less sunlight entered the water of the Mega Farm. The reference is not to prawns in general but to one particular sort of freshwater prawns. Some prawns are more difficult to grow than others.

Mark; I guess we need to review some facts with you as well.

TRW has grown ADULT prawns successfully for years...

They have some issues with one type of prawns in AF4 (the giant green freshwater prawn?) where the roof is higher than the other AFs and the "roof windows" aren't positioned straight above the tanks, hence less sunlight. This particular type of prawns has an issue with that, i.e after a certain size they need more sunlight to grow. So, for the last few weeks of the growth cycle they grow them outdoors. If I am not mistaken, this ONLY applies to the males - i.e the females (which are smaller) are fully grown inside (although I might be mistaken on this one).

How old is an "adult prawn" btw? You claim that they "can't grow prawns adult under roof at all", but it is only the last few weeks that they are grown outdoors. ALL prawns are grown indoor, while some have their final growth outdoors.

Yes, Solomon explained this - and the solution. Unfortunately, I can't remember whether this had any effect on the results in Q2 as you claim. We did have renovations in Q1 and Q2, hence lower production than if the AFs had been fully operational. Also; if you've had an aquarium at home, then you might have stumbled upon what happens if you stock all your fish immidiately before the biological filters are up and running. Hence, TRW can't stock the renovated AFs 100% immediately. YET we're still targeting the same FY volume as before - not sure how you think that's a failure, but if you expected a larger production than TRW did on January 1st, then I would blame you and not them...
