Neither TMMI or Dimension Inc. claim to be in the compression business, so we are left to speculate about potential scaling technologies. "Quantum" is an interesting buzz word and is the next big thing in computer science.
I am speculating that things "Quantum" will somehow end up in Dim's patent portfolio, of course, after others have defined its implementation providing an easy template to copy.
Other than that, there is nothing from TMMI for this board to discuss.
I am intrigued by Intel's latest development. What a strange coincidence this subject matter came up on the very day they announced their first Quantum chip. Eventually ultra high resolution image scaling and other image processing operations will be performed on Quantum Chips.
