I don't believe Perlowin's "delay the decorticator" story
Frankly, I think that Perlowin is spinning a yarn about delaying the decorticator because there wouldn't be much hemp fiber to process this year. That's because since HEMP bought the equipment in 2014 and until a few months ago, Perlowin's story has been that HEMP could make a lot of money selling refined kenaf fiber and products made from pure kenaf hurd, and until they could grow 3,000+ acres of hemp for fiber and hurd, they would grow that much kenaf.
I have only two questions about the tour:
Were you shown the Kenaf "product" coming out of the mill that is being stored in Supersacks and if so, what did it look/feel like?
BTW, it amuses me that after all the hype of the tour, on his Facebook page, Perlowin has posted for three days about the visits to the farms, but only once about the actual tour of the plant.
Oh, and in the plant video, most of what's visible in the decorticator room hasn't changed in more than six months, with loose wire and conduit sitting in exactly the same places as before.
