Yes geopressure, I was wrong!... The other wells that will be drilled from this drilling pad will not be side-tracked from within this one... They will be using "deviation drilling" from completely separate (albeit nearby) wells...
"Several wells can be drilled from the same drilling pad using deviation drilling. The wells can be as close together as 10 ft (3 m). This leaves a significantly smaller footprint in environmentally sensitive areas. It also saves money by greatly decreasing the distance the drilling rig has to be moved before drilling each well. After the wells have been completed and put into production, the drilling pad is called a production pad and is often protected by a fence."
