You are absolutely correct, I didn't expand on that previously. The opportunity in any fleet, gov't, schools, city/state, private companies, etc. can be huge. That's why I'm holding My point was regarding the dealership sales and direct to consumer market.
I see the rental discount helping but it's still a huge financial investment from Enterprise. I'm sure they would have to do studies to determine how distracted driving affects their bottom line with accidents caused by drivers using their cell phones, how long the vehicle is out of the rental fleet getting repairs, insurance claims etc. But how long would it take to see that ROI? I am hoping they determine this to be a smart investment to protect their vehicles. And make that determination quickly!
When i mentioned the "turn of the phone", I was speaking of personal vehicles and the owners, not the rental company. So this would definitely be a great product for teens, I just don't see it from an adult driver in their own vehicle.
