I understand him wanting to have complete control . I also understand him not wanting to give up that control. He could however hire capable people and have morning meetings even if by phone on a conference call. Each person could give progress reports and what they have planned to make the future a success.
Sounds easy, but I doubt he wants to give up any control, and I'm not sure how hard he works. Now that could be a problem, but who knows he could be a workaholic and us near the 800 lb gorilla entering the room .
