#76447 RE: PINKribbon #76083

It's not been 30 years-wrong

Ifosfamide is a chemo drug that dates back to the 1980s.

The basis for Metronomic chemo therapy dates back to 1991.

It's been a 20 year project that has since matured in it's technological development.

Exactly what technological development has "matured" it since 1997?

In the meantime, Metronomic chemo has not been shown in FDA approved trials to be effective against established tumors. Especially using a single chemo alkylating drug. Try to find any Metronomic trial using a single alkylating drug. Please consult the ClinTrial database for FDA trials, not PMCB PRs.

Our hero CEO Kenny is pitching the scam angle CIAB beads sitting in a Pancreatic blood vessel is going to activate the Ifosfamide all on the first pass, with the Pancreatic tumor sitting next to it. And/or having the Ifosfamide being activated by the magical beads (i.e. orders of magnitudes less than the amount the liver will activate) will be magical, due to location.

Question: How will the Ifosfamide activated by the magical CIAB beads be any better in overcoming the interstitial pressure created by the dense stoma fibroblast cells of a Pancreatic tumor? Lowering the ability of chemo drugs to get transported into the tumor by restricting blood vessel flow within the tumor. Hint: It won't.
