Their Orphan Drug designation make them eligible for certain forms of funding that they wouldn't otherwise have access to. That is why so many companies apply for that designation but it isn't easy to achieve orphan drug status so that is quite an accomplishment. As far as the market cap, it should already be much higher than $30 million but instead it sits at $1.4 million.
