I'll give you the best answer I can and it's one of two reasons or a combo of them.

1. Almost all marijuana stocks follow a similar pattern. They make giant runs in times where there is great hype for the sector as a whole. For instance, when initiatives/measures look like they are going to be passed, or when legalizations actually go into effect. Then the flip side is when there is a period of nothing big on the horizon, then almost all MJ stocks start to slowly crash. In the last 6-8 months, other then NV going legal, there is no anticipation of news that was of any significance, so prices greatly fell.

2. Those who manage and own each company create new shares all the time for themselves or employees, which in turn they dump just trying to get cash, and that will help tank the price, especially during low volume times.

I see people complain about MMs all the time, but I'm not sure how much of an effect they have. To me, the two reasons above play a bigger role.

Just my opinion.

I'm still waiting for November to buy, hoping for better prices, but there is a at least a 95% you make money from buying at 8 cents and I would say greater then 50% that you double up or better. That is if you sell before March. Don't listen to anyone telling you to be long, these stocks are meant to be shorted.
