Bond markets closed

All Monday.

If your going to make big changes for the GSEs you certainly do not want MBS trading to be going on. You have to reassure the markets that everything is going to be alright.

Something BIG maybe be happening...

The Federal Reserve is not going to wait for retail traders to cover shorts in FNMA and FMCC to act. Nor will they wait for retail investors on the sidelines thinking about getting into the stocks.

With a 3 day weekend for the MBS market; this is a VERY VERY bad time to be short or on the sidelines.

That 100 shares sent tremors through the market. Some of the MMs thought it was an earthquake!

Tried to do the same but volume was pretty anemic.

Managed to make 50$ cash profit tho XD
